Terms and Conditions
1. Who we are
LearnCaddie (the “Service”), available at learncaddie.com and app.learncaddie.com, is provided by {{LEGAL_NAME}}, {{POSTAL_ADDRESS}}, tax ID (NIT) {{TAX_ID_NIT}} (“we”, “us”). Contact: {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}. Support: {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}}. More in our Legal notice.
By creating an account or buying a subscription you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Order process and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle charges your payment method, issues your invoice, and collects and remits sales tax or VAT where it applies. Paddle’s own buyer terms apply to the purchase. We never see or store your full card details.
3. What the Service is
LearnCaddie is a personal learning companion. It includes a diagnostic card game (Buzzword Bingo), the Learning Lab with the curriculum Understand AI, a personal AI teacher (“Your Caddie”), progress tracking, a review plan, and notes.
4. Free trial
- You can try LearnCaddie as a guest without an account.
- If you register, we keep your progress for 7 days. The trial is free, needs no payment method, and does not turn into a paid subscription by itself.
- The trial includes a demo catalog and a sample Caddie conversation. It does not include live AI answers.
5. Basic subscription, price, and automatic renewal
- Price: Basic costs US $40 per month, plus any sales tax or VAT shown at checkout.
- What is included: the full Understand AI curriculum, Your Caddie, and about 200 Caddie answers per billing month. One Caddie answer is one question to Your Caddie. Unused answers do not carry over to the next month.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically every month, on the same day of the month you subscribed, and Paddle charges $40 (plus applicable tax) to your payment method on file — until you cancel.
- Price changes: we tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- Confirmation: after purchase you receive a confirmation by email with these terms, the price, the renewal rhythm, and how to cancel.
6. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason:
- Online: sign in at app.learncaddie.com/account (Setup → Account) and manage your subscription in the Paddle customer portal; or
- By email: write to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} from the address of your account.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access to Basic until the end of the month you already paid for; after that your account returns to the free state and is not charged again. For refunds see our Refund policy.
7. Extra Caddie answers (top-ups)
Basic subscribers can buy 200 additional Caddie answers for US $10 (plus applicable tax). A top-up is a one-time purchase; it does not renew.
8. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account is for one person. Do not share access.
9. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law or others’ rights while using the Service;
- try to get around answer limits, access controls, or security;
- scrape, copy, or resell the curriculum or the Service;
- use Your Caddie to produce harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
10. AI-generated answers
Your Caddie is an AI system. Its answers are generated automatically by a large language model and can be incomplete or wrong. They are for learning, not professional (legal, financial, medical, or similar) advice. Check what matters before you rely on it — you still own the send.
11. Content and intellectual property
The curriculum, texts, graphics, simulators, and software belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own learning while it is active. Your notes and your chat messages remain yours; you give us the rights we need to store and process them to run the Service for you.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. We may improve and change the curriculum and features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and ask for a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the month.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms; if we do so without cause, we refund the unused part of your current month.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. The version in force is always on this page.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING_LAW}}. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the place where you live remain unaffected.
